Raised on Efficiency; Rooted in Non-Profits

With degrees in Communications, Marketing, Performance Arts, and Theology, Melody worked 10 years in the nonprofit sector as the Administrator, and eventually, Director of Marketing & Communications for the Lifehouse Church Network. There, she honed the invaluable skill of using small budgets and small teams to reach big goals – helping grow the organization from a five-person project to a multi-site congregation of thousands in just a few short years.

Forbes, Fortune & Fame

In 2014, she was invited to join the executive team at HighRock Studios, an award-winning marketing agency with an impressive portfolio of local and Fortune 500 clients.  Named one of Forbes Fastest Growing Inner City Businesses, HighRock evolved into a holding company in 2017, where Melody took the role of Director of Marketing to oversee strategic direction for all acquired companies in the industries of marketing, technology and entertainment. During those years, she sharpened her skills in business strategy and time management, while learning the importance of work-life balance in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

From Microphone to Media Startup

Through various speaking opportunities at conferences and online events, Melody began sharing her knowledge in business, marketing and time management, discovering her undeniable passion and talent for helping small business owners and non profits.  In 2020, she made the bold decision to resign from her agency career and build a media company dedicated to that very purpose.

Melody Belotte Media was founded to take the proven practices, techniques and strategies of Fortune 500 companies and make them more accessible and affordable for solo entrepreneurs, small business owners and nonprofit leaders.  Through events, presentations, workshops and personal consulting, Melody gives individuals and organizations the tools they need to experience less overwhelm and to enjoy more time for what matters.

Work-Life Balance in Practice

When she’s not in the office, Melody is busy practicing what she preaches. Whether by foot, by motorcycle, or by kayak – you can always find her family of four exploring new ways to have fun without wifi and make time for what matters.  Wanna get in touch? Drop her a message!
